as much as i love the other seasons of the year, i cannot deny the excitement and thrill that summer brings to me. here's what i'm looking forward to most this season, including making more of the above ice cream flavor (blueberry and basil with vanilla cream):
- check out an okc dodgers game
- crack into more adventurous ice cream flavors, but keep a healthy rotation of the classics (mexican vanilla, strawberry, and semisweet chocolate)
- take a long weekend 'trek out to the ouachitas to relax and hike (part of) the ridge with T and the pups
- ride our bikes with m+j out to the wheeler district for a sunset ferris wheel ride and drinks
- inspired by the latest southern living mag issue, try our hand at some of their rib recipes
- take a picnic out to myriad gardens for movies in the park
- check out the narrows, and elk mountain trails at the wichitas
- quench our thirst during the heat wave with this and this
