ode to summer

summer is almost here and i cannot wait! not to say that i love the 100+ temperatures but, i dislike it less than the tornado season we are currently in. plus, it really is the most fun time of the year. here's what i'm looking forward to this summer:

• nighttime bike rides around our new neighborhood
• plant lavender in our front window box
• make homemade ice cream for the first time
• tackle several décor projects in our home
• try making agua fresca from scratch
• take an early morning roadtrip out to see the great salt plains
• indulge in movies at the myriad, wine on the rooftop, and movie nights at bleugarten at least once
• revisit stinchcomb wildlife refuge for another hike and swim with the pups
